Disclaimer
Last Updated: August 14, 2026
Please read this important disclaimer regarding liability, data responsibility, and the use of QuantC. By using our platform, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.
1. "As Is" and "As Available" Service
QuantC is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, continuous availability, or error-free operation of the platform. Your use of the service is entirely at your own risk.
2. No Liability for Data Loss
QuantC operates entirely on a volatile, ephemeral storage model. Files are stored temporarily and are automatically purged after 48 hours. However, data may be deleted earlier in the event of server maintenance, instability, or capacity limits. QuantC is not responsible for any loss of data, failure of transfer, or data corruption. Always maintain secure backups of your important files.
3. Zero-Knowledge Cryptography
Because QuantC utilizes end-to-end AES-256-GCM encryption where the decryption keys are generated and kept exclusively in your browser, we cannot recover your files if you lose your key phrase. It is your sole responsibility to securely communicate the decryption key to your intended recipient.
4. No Liability for Misuse or Unlawful Content
QuantC provides a neutral, encrypted file-transfer tool. We do not monitor, endorse, verify, or have access to the contents of the files shared through our platform. Users are solely responsible for the legality of the data they transfer. QuantC and its creators disclaim all liability for any damages, legal repercussions, copyright infringement, or illegal activities conducted by users utilizing this service.
5. Third-Party Infrastructure
Our service relies on third-party infrastructure providers (e.g., Cloudinary, MongoDB Atlas) for encrypted data storage and routing. While we ensure all data is client-side encrypted before transmission, QuantC is not liable for any outages, breaches, or failures originating from these third-party services.
6. Regulatory Compliance
QuantC is designed to comply with applicable Indian laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, and the Information Technology Act, 2000. However, we make no representations that the platform is appropriate or available for use in other jurisdictions. Users accessing QuantC from outside India do so at their own volition and are responsible for compliance with their local laws.
